LPK Architects, in association with Sasaki, prepared a Housing Master Plan in 2008 to accommodate the Student Affairs and Residence Life programs at Delta State University. The Master Plan team analyzed current market conditions, existing housing facilities, and prepared recommendations to carry out the expansion and replacement of facilities. The Master Plan includes the addition and renovation of housing, with a focus on sustainability and a pedestrian-oriented campus.

In 2013, LPK provided an update to the Housing Master Plan, examining the University's response to the previous study's recommendations, current student preferences, and a growing deferred maintenance backlog.
