JOHN "Johnny" OLSEN JR., AIA

Principal Architect

John “Johnny” Olsen Jr., a native of Pascagoula, Mississippi and a graduate of the Mississippi State University College of Architecture, Art and Design, has over 14 years of professional experience. He is currently the manager of the Mississippi Gulf Coast office located in Gulfport, Mississippi and is responsible for project management, administration, and marketing.

His experience ranges from small commercial to large public projects. Civic projects and healthcare facilities have been the focus of Mr. Olsen’s work over the last several years. Mr. Olsen was instrumental in the recovery and rebuilding efforts in Harrison County and specifically within the City of Gulfport in the years following hurricane Katrina.  

A registered Architect in Mississippi and Louisiana, Mr. Olsen is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). A graduate of Leadership Gulf Coast, additional affiliations include the Gulfport Main Street Association, President and the Gulfport Business Club, Vice President. Mr. Olsen lives in Biloxi, MS with his wife, Amy and three children, Alaina, Charlie and Finley.
